An in-correctly fitted bra might have:
- Shoulder straps digging in

A correctly fitted bra should have:
- Under band firmly sitting against the body and level at the front and the back
- No puckering or over spill in the cup
- Comfortable and supportive straps
- Under wires sitting flat against the chest wall
- Under wires fully containing the breasts
What we see at Chic most often is that the band size of the bra is too big and the cup size to small. It is vital to get the back band of the bra fitted correctly to offer a firm fit. This then means the weight of the bust is on the band of the bra and the support is evident. Shoulder straps provide uplift. Most ladies find that once the back of the bra is fitted correctly and snugly against the body this helps to prevent chaffing and discomfort as the bra does not move around. Equally, fitting firmly stops the bra riding up the back and causing the bust to fall. Fixed snugly to the upper part of the lower back on the bottom edge of the shoulder blades the bra will fit well. The straps are then allowed to play their part in the fit by giving uplift. No more aching shoulders, red marks on the strap lines or bad posture.
